About SIA Concept Store
Start your projectSIA Concept Store sells loungewear and lifestyle pieces online in the UAE. When they came to us, the store took 18 seconds to load on mobile, and about half the people who clicked an ad gave up before the page appeared. Their previous developer hadn't updated the site's PHP version in over two years, which left it vulnerable. On top of that, the person running their ads was using bots to fake engagement. SIA was paying for traffic that never had a real chance to buy, and they were tired of it.

Before: 18.2 second load time on mobile
Pain Areas
An 18 second load time on mobile.
Half of the people who clicked an ad left before the page loaded.
A PHP version more than two years out of date, leaving the site vulnerable.
Bots faking engagement on their ads instead of real customers.
Ad spend that wasn't turning into sales.
Barely any presence in Google search.
Approach for SIA Concept Store
From an 18 second load time to 3 seconds, with ads that now earn back almost 3 times what they cost.
Step 1
Cutting the Load Time
Google PageSpeed measured 18.2 seconds before the main content showed up on mobile. We tracked down what was slowing the store and fixed it. Averaged over more than 1,000 page loads, the store now loads in about 3 seconds.
Step 2
Keeping Ad Visitors on the Page
With the old load time, roughly half the people who clicked an ad left while they were still waiting. Now nobody leaves during the load, so every click SIA pays for actually gets to see the products.
Step 3
Ads Aimed at Real Shoppers
We shut down the bot engagement and rebuilt the Meta campaign around real shoppers in the UAE. On about $200 CAD (525 AED) of spend, the ads brought in about $580 CAD (1,540 AED) in sales. That's a return of almost 3x.
Step 4
Getting Found on Google
The store's pages weren't indexed properly, so it barely showed up in search. Once we got them indexed, organic search started bringing in roughly $100 CAD in sales a month. Not a huge number, but it costs SIA nothing.
Step 5
Security and PHP Updates
We updated PHP, which was more than two years behind, and we keep it current as part of maintenance. Security fixes go in when they're released instead of waiting years.
Step 6
Hosting, Domain, and Maintenance
We run SIA's hosting, domain, and day to day upkeep, so they have one team to call. Orders keep coming in from both paid ads and organic search.
